JK2006 Now finished watching it - an extraordinary film; I cannot recommend it too highly. Worth every penny and the girl deserved to win the Oscar as Best Actress.
JK2006 I've taken to watching half a fillum (my Amazonaddiction) then stopping the DVD - watching TV (News and Ray Davies Imagine) and returning the next day to the rest of the movie; I wanted to see if the insanity around Stieg Larrson was warranted. I thought Swedes were all sweetness and light (being used to 40 years of Abba) and found Wallander a revelation.
But this film is even more of a revelation - the original Swedish (with English audio if wanted) - a mere £4.99 P&P included - I adore Amazon - the rape scenes are extraordinary.

The girl Noomi Rapace is terrific.
