A pedant writes...! Funnily enough, my friends in Denmark thought it was hilarious that I thought Scandinavia had five countries - my four listed above and Lapland.
Which is not a country at all but an area across the north.
I knew Iceland was not - as it's an island on its own; nor Greenland (too far away). |

I love Scandinavia (apart from the winter weather) - my favourite of the countries - people and places - is Denmark. I ought to be biased towards Sweden (Abba) but actually Norway is my second favourite - although I don't like Oslo. The Sweden; then Finland.
Actually jk, just to be pedantic, Finland isn't in Scandanavia. Scandanavia consists of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, and together with Finland and Iceland they form the Nordic countries. |

I went to Copenhagen this summer, it is a beautiful city with lots to do. Loads of interesting buildings and museums. The only problem with it is that the choice of food isn't very good and it's very expensive. You will be sick of smorebread after a few days. Also the people their are probably amongst the most attractive in the world. |

the Swedes have been lurching to the right for 2 decades..like The Netherlands.
Odd places..deeply conservative in the country..liberal in the cities. |
