SJB I never saw Pete Postlethwaite live on stage unfortunately, but I greatly enjoyed him in his well known film roles, especially In the Name of the Father and Brassed Off, but most of all in the Sharpe series opposite Sean Bean.

He seemed like an affable and down to earth chap, and strikingly handsome in an unusual way. What a shame we won't be seeing anymore performances.
dixie It really is a great book, written by Deric Longden. It's available from Amazon. I tend to re-read it every five years or so, and enjoy it every time.
