sounds like a completely bungled investigation so far.
why did they arrest him ? He wouldn't have been going anywhere.
I reckon he could do a few tabloids for libel as well if they don;t change the law soon.
I suspect he was arrested merely so they could show that they were doing something !
Interesting that he has not yet re-surfaced (but I suspect that Plod know where he is).
Perhaps we should all remember that Christmas is a good time to be dumping bodies - plod are obviously too busy with staff parties etc to actually do the basics. |

He might have a good shot at it.
Plod arrested him just five days after the unfortunate lady's body was found, before the post mortem examination, before a reconstruction had been held, before they've investigated other people or vehicles in the area, before they've had time to examin telephone, email or computer records etc etc etc.
I just thought of all that quite sensible stuff off the top of my head in about half a second, so what excuse do the trained investigators have for getting it arse backwards?
Plod couldn't investigate himself out of a broom closet. Luckily, all the laws have been changed so they don't have to. They can just make up a little story and not bother with any pesky evidence or anything inconvenient and time-consuming like that. |
