On the subject of travel, how's the Roller doing? Must be getting her ready for some spring time travel to the French Riviera? |

Yes - that will do . So much to see and do when you are away - fresh sights, people and tastes.
I just wish I was not so bad on the plane - I see others sitting and enjoying a movie or eating snacks and theres me crunched up and feeling terrible. I would love to see Australia but I don't think I could survive the journey. |

I think my main holiday pleasure this year was the weather - fantastic sunshine virtually every day; I was very lucky, missing rain and storms by a day everywhere I went. Secondly my editing the music videos for the new film; having learned Final Cut Pro and devoting five or six hours a day to it. Thirdly my swimming; it makes me feel great and very relaxed. Fourth - some really delicious food in both Morocco and France. Fifth - friends - I have many from all over the world (a Moroccan friend who has lived and worked in London for 40 years now has a place there too). Sixth - my Slingbox (enabling me to watch UK TV wherever I am). Seventh - reading - as you have seen, John Le Carre, Stephen King, Aldous Huxley, Gerald Seymour - my word companions - plus the daily UK papers now, thanks to printing abroad, available everywhere. Eighth - losing my audio book virginity to my friend Stephen Fry and his superb The Liar. Ninth - driving and culture and seeing the sights of cities like Fes, Volubilis, El Jadida, all kinds of other places. Tenth - contact with people through the good old Internet. Will that do for a start? |

Indeed Bernie and I suggest you go and examine them instead of wasting your time coming here.
Thank you JK, I will; thank you for your helpful advice.
But what is your reason for 'wasting your time coming here' ?
Every day...
I really like people's holiday snaps. |

What was the highlight of your holiday JK? The food looks nice but I always worry about ordering something I won't like when abroad! |
