the tale of Betty & The Middletons surely illustrates the bizarre vacuosness of today's media ( and I contribute my little bit) and how every mindless tidbit of gossip becomes a major story or beat-up and the tabloid style media demands access into the most precious and private parts of everyone's soul no matter what damage it may cause or how utterly irelevant it may be ! 
I mean really...who actually gives a flying f**k if they have met The Queen or not ? |

My position? I admire the Royal Family, think they do a job none of them wanted in a superb way, believe they are a major national asset and generally support anything that boosts their image and our economy. As for meeting the in laws - none of my business. |

Angel is right. I think the goal posts have to be moved in this case. Let them get on with it. but people like ITK choose to inflame the debate for the heck of it.
