veritas does this solve the mystery of why the pool is always empty in your snaps?
JK2006 Watching a feature on this on BBC Brekkie - when I arrived in Rabat last winter I was delighted that the new hotel owners had decided to keep the pool open all year. Great as the weather was fantastic but it turned out the water was icy cold - the pool is not heated (yet - I've begged the manager and I think he's getting it heated).

Every day I stripped in the hot sun, plunged in and could do just one length before emerging like a block of ice.

Fortunately the Marrakech hotels all have heated outside pools.
