Yes, veritas ... filling-in the poll registration form is also compulsory in the UK, but simply fill it in using the new name.

But I never fill in a form correctly. Trying to get my real details would take a team of forensic detectives a lifetime. I feel it's my duty to circumvent beurocracy. Something I learnt from my mother.  |

Thats right ... under NO circumstances do anything that will link your old name and new one (such as putting adverts in local papers etc) - that will get picked up somewhere and your two names will be "linked" together (as aka's). |
