veritas Rupert Murdoch's News Corp avoided $77M in the ACT ( Canberra) over 4 years.

The ACT has the tiniest population in Australia let alone the world. News Corp makes so much profit-in just one territory alone- that it seeks to avoid that much by breaking up it's company and listing in Bermuda. It was finally dforced to pay the money in a secret deal.

You can multiply that tax avoided by a thousand in Britain with the tax avoidance condoned by both Nu Labour and Tories who will not make corporations pay their fare share of taxes but prefer to demonise those at the lowest rung of society who cannot fight back.

Remember Vodafone who were allowed to avoid 6 billion pounds ?

as the demonisation of collective bargaining-unions- continues and they are destroyed, people like shop workers should re-group and form themselves as a labour-hire firm to provide those like Top Shop with hundreds of 'contractor' sales assistants. And then base that hire-firm in the Cayman Islands. Pay no tax.

of course-avoiding tax really is tantamount to treason. When people drive on the M1 they should feel proud they have paid taxes to build it.
