robbiex Also had a big pop career in the 60's, with about 12 top 20 hits and a multi-million seller no. 1. with Tears.
Metal Mickey Another true legend we'll miss when he's gone, so see him while you can! Amazingly, he still tours regularly (google his website) and is almost certain to be playing somewhere near you soon, and should be seen live (his natural habitat) by anyone with any kind of interest in stand-up comedy whatsoever - he is The Guv'nor, respect is due.
Prunella Minge Watch out for Blackpool's 'comedy carpet' this summer - it'll be an amazing piece of imagination on the seafront.

Hate that series (refused it three times days back when) but Dodd was brilliant.
Absolutely stunning.
My favourite line (delivered so fast nobody laughed) - "a 3-0 draw".

I had seen this before - but still watched again (something I normally dont do).

Yes he is quite brilliant .... just shows what "serving your apprenticeship" achieves as opposed to today's "instant" X "stars"
andrew Yes it was shown on ITV. I saw this funny man live about 3-4 years ago and not everybody got every joke and it started at 7.30 pm and finished at 12.45 intermission was was at 10pm. Alot of people had to leave because of work and wanted to get home so second half was half empty.
