I thought he did a great job presenting Bullseye as well. Oh, sorry, wrong Bowen, that was Jim.
The Fat Controller
Bowen is excellent. Better than John Simpson in my views who tends to bluster along the corporate line. Hope nothing happens to Bowen over there...because the next thing will be hostage negotiations...

Bowen gets better and better - prompted by the pro-rebel BBC News presenter he refused to go along with rebel claims of deaths and wounded; he's not in any way pro Gaddafi but neither is he willing to back the rebels.

I'd back the citizens of Brighton if they wanted to split from the UK
I'm not sure if anyone really knows what the majority of Lybians want one way or the other.
In the end the West is to blame..we kept these dictators in power.

And in his latest report he has admitted something very important - most Libyans want Gaddafi to stay. Which makes this ridiculous situation even more appalling - what on earth are we - is anyone - doing supporting a minority rebel movement? The ramifications are extraordinary. Should another country - or NATO - back the citizens of Brighton if they decided to split from the UK?
