veritas the Space race is reputed to have returned to the USA approx $128 in profit for ever $1 spent.

so many things came from it..including mobile phones.

and with any luck when we get to Mars we might find some brilliant inventions our ancestors left behind.
In The Know Endeavour completes its last mission - after 122 million miles !

Isn't the human race extraordinary (when it wants to be) but completely morose (most of the time) ?

If only time and effort were put into irrigation on earth, medicine, education, and above all else freedom .... what a place this could be.
