Hamlet The 'rebels' may well turn out to be Islamic extremists or so forth. I can't see the post Gaddafi Libya improving much.
JK2006 I thought the United Nations were meant to bring peace to the world; they started this war, fuelled this war, mission creep, take over, regime change, bomb, invade...
Yes, Gaddafi may well go but he's stood against the entire world for months and I cannot see why everyone is so convinced the rebels are so much nicer - let alone better.
Remember - we backed Saddam. And the overthrow of the Shah.
