I agree with both sides but it's the method that is a travesty.
The West-as it's decided it is the world's policeman- could take out any dictator by offering a ten million pound reward. Their own generals would be queuing to do the deed.
So much better though to first sell dictators or repressive regimes billions of pounds in weapons and then spend more taking them out.
Even the arch conservative US politician Pat Robertson called the Iraq war the 'greatest handover of public monies to private hands ' ever seen.
and now look what has happened...100 billion US dollars have gone missing in Iraq.
Far better to talk about the dole 'scroungers' back home and blame them for the countries ills.  |
