veritas Gillard stops Murdoch China TV bid

THE Gillard government has made an unprecedented intervention in an official tender process to stop Sky News Australia, partly owned by Rupert Murdoch, winning a $223 million contract to broadcast Australia's overseas television service.

## The fact News Corp set out to destroy the previous Labor PM over a mining tax on a few billionaires is entirely co-incidental..

..as is the fact News Corp threatened in an editorial in March to "destroy The Greens" who have just taken the balance of power with 10 senators for the next 6 years.
