veritas "He said one of the survivors told them that they had been captured by Col Gaddafi's troops, held in a school for several days and then executed."

so Dr Moez witnessed a miracle.

I don't think anybody except for his family would say he's never been responsible for some awful things; I doubt if many give him credit for many good things though I'll bet there have been several (I look at the "rebels" all in designer T shirts and smart trainers - very few in Tunisia or Morocco have those - perhaps they looted them). But I'm ashamed to be part of the "civilisation" that says he should be condemned and killed without trial. That is just as bad morally in my book.

Almost total agreement here. I'm just not sure about the "killed without trial" bit.

The death penalty isn't something I'd agree with even with a trial.

Mind you I'd make an exception for Jedward. As long as they were both topped together and in public. And it took a loooooong time.

How many were killed by NATO in Iraq?

I agree that he should not be killed without trial, but as for condemned, I think there is more than enough evidence already.

I understand that this discussion may be over-taken by events ... the Government of Libya believes it has Gaddafi pinned down in a complex of buildings close to his compound.
