Angel Echo all the coments but why wasn't this on earlier? An interesting history piece for kids.
dixie I wondered if anybody was going to post a comment on this. I wanted to see the movie when it first came out, but never got around to it, so watched it for the first time on TV last night. I assume it’s total fiction, based on real events. It was beautifully made and good acting, especially the two young boys. But what a distressing ending. So dramatic. There was no way I could go to sleep after that! (It was resolved by watching Monday night’s episode of The Apprentice USA. )
veritas a lovely film and what a shocking end !
JK2006 Oh dear. Not a bad movie but what a distressing ending.

Interesting premise though. Even the worst people have different family members. Something ITK might like to think about when he next rejoices in the Libyan massacres.
