Pumpkinhead I don't mind spiders but my mother started freaking when those big ones started appearing around London, but I haven't seen any for a couple of years. My younger brother usually deals with them.

The Fat Controller It's that time of the year (I live in the country) when the biggies come out to find a mate. Had a few beauties already this week, and found one this morning nestled in the fold of my dressing gown. We are surrounded by woodland here, so we get quite a few...not as many as last year due to a lack of rain in the spring...last year I was almost overrun. Don't like them in the bedroom much...but have never killed one...do the glass and card thing and put them out the back door.
