JK2006 Bean was just in Scotland (daughter two starting Uni) and said the wind was extraordinary; still calm here in London though.
Angel Started off a beautiful warm sunny day. Central Scotland now on amber alert. Winds up to 70mph at the moment with ferries and road bridges closed.
Locked Out I'm saying goodbye to my cornflowers one by one here near Howden. Blowing a hooley.
JK2006 Still a rather nice sunny day here in London.
steveimp Hope everyone is safe. It's lovely and sunny here in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, but the wind is howling around. My flat looks over a park and the trees are twisting very violently. Lincoln City Centre is at gridlock apparently with lorries toppling over - thankfully we left Lincoln after a hospital appointment in very good time!
