JK2006 Snowdrops by A.D. Miller

Very strange; a very well written novel, full of great observation about Russia, but not a Booker type at all. More the kind of thing you'd buy in an airport before a long flight, read from cover to cover and happily chuck away on arrival, thinking "that was excellent" before forgetting it.
