JK2006 Good interview with Kelman on BBC London Tonight - apparently there was a bidding war between 12 publishers and Bloomsbury won with a six figure sum. Worth every penny I'd say.
JK2006 If you want an incredible insight to the causes of the recent riots, this is the book to read.
JK2006 Finished now; couldn't put it down. Brilliant. I loved it. Best of the three by far and my tip to win (mind you, my choice usually comes second).

But read it anyway; it's fabulous.
JK2006 I'm only 3/4 through Pigeon English but it's way in front as my favourite so far; based on the Damilola Taylor tragedy; brilliant; loving it - a first novel too by Stephen Kelman.
