6pm Monday 31st National News - again; microphone crackles and no voice. What on earth is going on? Have they decided just to broadcast to the deaf? |

Internal markets made lending from the BBC music library more expensive than going out and buying new records. Was maybe great for the music industry but a total desaster for the BBC. |

I always find it so sad when I go to BH these days and bump into some truly great technical people who would have died for the BBC, but were forced into early retirement and now, of course, are back there as freelances, busier than ever, when they should have been training all of these dullards how to broadcast. What a waste of so much talent. I know they're still gainfully employed (and much better paid), but I also know they'd love to be back working for the Beeb. |
