angel	FC, the story is about placing the Olympic hoops on the side of Edinburgh castle. Its unsightly and we don't want one our most beautiful landmarks blighted because Lord Coe thinks its a good idea. I think there will be a more appropriate site chosen eventually. In The Know	Agree entirely. The "biggest non-event of all time" will make the white elephant Millenium Dome seem like a bargain !
The Fat Controller	So none of you Scots will be celebrating a Scottish triumph in any of the events? You wont be backing your Scottish sportsmen and women? www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/olympics/83188...t-swimming-gold.html That'll be the first swimming gold. Many scots there in there thousands one would have thought. Politics wont come into it when athletes are winning gold medals. I very much doubt scots will be sticking two fingers up at the event if their athletes do well. I wont be watching...unless their's an event for fatties ...the rolling over the bed attempting to put socks on event and ending up almost breaking your neck...I'd win Gold for that!
angel	Totally agree Veritas and we Jock's are not going to advertise it on one of Scotlands most historic landmarks. Its Englands party we've got our own one thanks.
veritas	a corrupt organisation subsidised by you the taxpayer which you will be paying for decades to come-as every other host country is. still...tabloid indoctrination is complete...screech to high heaven about welfare payments to individuals but corporate welfare is a non subject.
