..with my former accuser. On Tuesday last. Hasn't he gone downhill? Our eyes briefly met at a bakery checkout. Long lank greasy hair, mad drug inflicted eyes, bow legs, ludicrous manbag slung over his shoulder, a forehead resembling an ordnance survey map of the Moon,what appeared to be plump ladylike breasts peeping through a thin shirt veiled by a dirty old sheepskin coat, a furry maggot clinging to his upper lip for dear life, and grubby hands shaking, grasping, filthy and trembling when handed his change.
He looked broken, homeless and lost... I left with my large bloomer and even larger smile etched across my face. |
