JK2006 I thought Theroux went into it thinking he'd hate Savile but ended up liking him, rather as he did with the Hamiltons (all those are or were friends). Whereas the opposite happened with Clifford.
angel I felt some of the Louis Theroux documentary on him was revealing at times although it seems it was intentionally made to show him in a bad light.

I liked Jimmy, but to be honest his reputation wasn't that great. There were so many rumours about him, I think that a properly researched biography might be quite welcome in the circumstances.
