JK2006 A BBC report comments that over 100 young men have immolated themselves during recent months; I hate the fact that this is the true result of the "Arab spring"... and that the country is falling apart economically. Tourism is down by 40%.

Our own Times newspaper disgracefully awarded the Person of the Year posthumously to the mad young man who started it all by killing himself.

I'm biased, of course. I love North Africa and returned there this summer (and will do so again in 2012 - as well as going to Libya at last).

Humanity has really lost the plot.
