JK2006 I thought Craig was superb in Casino Royale, a great film. QofS was ghastly. Fingers crossed this is CR standard.

For me it's Le Carre every time!
Pumpkinhead My favourite Bond is Roger Moore, but I also liked the Timothy Dalton. The others don't do much for me.

Harry Palmer is more my type of British "secret" agent. He had good taste in food.
angel Daniel Craig has brought the Bond franchise into the 21st century. The success of the last 2 movies speak for themselves. Each actor before has brought something new and the same can be said of DC. I for one think he's been one of the best since Connery. The next instalment has the makings of a classic given the team behind it. You FC might not like him but the fans do!
Prunella Minge I haven't seen a Bond movie for years. ITV doesn't help by using the old movies as a way of filling up every two hour gap in their schedules, but the recent hype is a big turn off. I'd like to see a Bond movie set in the period the novels were written - that would force the makers to concentrate on characters and plot instead of increasingly desperate stunts and CGI gimmicks.
The Fat Controller ...nope...sorry...nothing to do with another chunk of the Murdoch empire crumbling...

It's Bond!

Yes I think Daniel Craig is scrumptious, but I've never thought he was right for Bond. He lacks that glamour, that cheeky twinkle and charm, that Pierce Brosnan had in buckets. Even Connery had the ability to do a bit of comedy now and then, Moore's Bond was perhaps a bit too panto and clichéd. Dalton was a bore.

Ian Fleming would perhaps disagree vehemently but the Bond movies should above all be fun, and Craig's 'depressed' and studious 007 just doesn't work for me.

Clive Owen next? The jury here is still out on him too. He looks the part, but can he play it?

Shaken but not stirred.
