In The Know Ahah ! 10 points there for you ! (but it has got the story of the massacres in Lebanon off the front page and diverted attention away from the rebellion against Blair !)
The Cat While the suspects were under surveilance and there was an ongoing plot to blow up airlines, there was no alert at airports, but now that the plot has been "foiled" many flights have been cancelled and there is a major alert.

Isn't this a bit upside down?
JK2006 The Nazis had the Jews.
Now we've got Muslims and paedophiles.
When will they start breaking glass?
The Cat So many warnings of imminent terror attacks, and of foiled terror threats (Old Trafford, Forest Gate, etc.). So many turn out to be bogus, and they usually coincide with government attempts to introduce new legislation (eg. Reid's recent claim that we will need to surrender certain liberties) or with Blair's need for support (recall the tanks at Heathrow when he needed support for Iraq?)

Call me a cynic, but I find it very hard to believe them now.
JK2006 Blair was fine. He wasn't carrying any baby milk.
