veritas and so 2 hacks have tried to top themselves. Have a feeling I might know who one of them would be.

It's sad they would go to this length but I can imagine from their point of view there their world has crumbled.

Others inside News Corp are supposedly seething about the way staff have been treated.

Amazing lesson here (quite appart from teh hudnreds of lives the hacks have set out to destroy..the feeling of hopelessness ordinary people feel when under the media gaze)....they sold out their souls to a rampant corporation that was never going to look after them when the chips were down.

Found out that invincible power so many journalists felt that had over the years..was just an illusion.

all the hacks I know (who are younger than me) with families, mortgages are petrified (especially at News Corp)..they know their prospects are limited.

Can't understand why they didn't see this before..I did at least 10 years ago...knew there was a bubble that would burst.
