Mike Read's Hairdresser of Marshall Amps fame! Where would rock music have been these past 48 years if Pete Townshend hadn't popped into Jim Marshall's music shop in Hanwell one day, and suggested that he build amplifiers as good as those expensive pieces of kit from America that musicians were having to rely on.
