andrew This takes the piss a great man terrific autobiography I wonder if Ken Dodd is next ?

What amazes me most was his accurate timing, as he was almost deaf I believe.
steveimp Amazing writer yet his own humour in his own roles was much, much gentler and subtle.

He's the only highlight in the notorious Curry and Chips.
JK2006 My friend Nordic directed him in (I think) his last film appearance; a delicious cameo in Son of Rambow.
