JK2006 As a Charterhouse lad I'm a bit of a snob about schools but seriously; I knew a lot of Etonians and they share characteristics; some good; most bad.

If there is something you dont want to be caught out on ... launch an inquiry !

That way, whenever someone brings the subject up you can say "the XXX inquiry is looking into that, let's talk when the inquiry has concluded" .... and sweep the matter under the carpet.

When the inquiry eventually reports (a year later) everyone has forgotten what it was all about.
