steveimp Even Jeremy Kyle says his lie detectors are between 95 and 99% correct. To me the chance of 1 to 5 out of 100 being incorrect is far too high.

JK2006 Thank you for this SE - I begged to take a Lie Detector Test but was told they were so unreliable they would not be allowed as evidence in court.

Has the technology changed? Or just the morality? Or are they STILL not allowed in court, in which case is this just another government/media smokescreen to make it look as though they are doing something where they are simply grabbing tabloid headlines?

I know what I guess.
