david I've just been watching a French debate about the Olympics. It's in the series 'C dans l'Air' which is really excellent as current affairs programmes go.

Anyway, the other night they had a debate about the Olympics. A very balanced debate giving plenty of credit to the UK for winning and delivering.

But I have to say I've found it hard to concentrate, as one of the panellists is a French bronze medal Judo chap, who... well.... just click on the link below and go to about 3.00 mins.

I am not usually this superficial, but I think I just fell in love lol

One thing he said I really liked. When asked if he was disappointed at winning a Bronze medal when he had said he was going to London to win Gold he said 'My medal is enormous for me'. Good man.

Being third in the world isn't defeat in my books.

That said, I didn't watch the Olympics.
