He's been in trouble for years at acting school. Mainly, I would have thought, for being CRAP at acting.

It's very obvious who this person is (Google is your friend). Does seem a strange case though.

Yes this could all be mountains and mole hills but the chap accused has not exactly been a Saint prior to this.

and this blows out of the water that the tiresome claim that the older person is always the predator:
Boy, 15, admits raping 65-year-old man in Mansfield
A 15-year-old boy from Nottinghamshire has pleaded guilty to raping a 65-year-old man.
The teenager also admitted attempting to rape and sexually assaulting the man on land off Vale Road in Mansfield on 4 August.
He also admitted two counts of theft relating to separate incidents, Nottingham Crown Court heard.
The boy who cannot be named for legal reasons is due to be sentenced on 16 November.

Can it be true that he's only 17 and the offences refer to two years ago when he was 15 and his victim 14?
In today's society, I'd say that's perfectly possible.
Also, without knowing any facts, it's quite possible force was used and that this was a dreadful crime.
On the other hand it might just be political correctness.
We shall doubtless find out in time.
