Random Stuff I live next to canal and ducks can always sense a small piece of bread thrown, even when no ducks in sight!
JK2006 Chatting to Deniz (83) about this and he was equally fascinated; we agreed these are things we become aware of as we get older.
JK2006 So I took a stroll in the park.

There were hundreds of pigeons; all on a tiny section of grass, lying beneath the trees in the sunshine.

I asked an old man nearby "why have they all congregated there?" and he replied "A lady feeds them at mid-day".

Just then an old woman appeared with loads of stale bread and indeed the birds sprang into action!

I wondered - do they have watches?
