This is new.

Are you now accusing Children in Need, the BBC, their Auditors, the Charity Commission etc. - of directing the funds to recipients, other than children's charities?

CERTAINLY NOT, Mary !

Far be it for me etc ... but YOU seem unable to say where any of this £900m has gone, dont you?

Yet again, you will be unable to name any such recipient - but, of course, its so easy to say the money has been wasted and that the whole effort is a waste of time.

But I HAVE SHOWN how spurious the claims process is - by a link to the site - showing that you can claim salaries etc etc

I have a much better idea, Mary ... I see the Countryfile Calendar (priced at £9) is now on sale in WH Smith. On TV they say either £4 or £5 (cant remember which) will go "direct" to the charity (ie direct to the fund that pays salaries etc).

Why not buy a nice Help The Aged calendar (good value at £2.99, and twice the size of the Countryfile calendar) then you can also send £5 direct to a charity and still be £1 in pocket !

Alternatively, The Works have some nice calendars too (again twice the size of the Countryfile calendar - and many have a free quality A5 diary as well). These too are only £2.99 - or 3 for £6 !!!

(btw ... My fact-finding mission to Tahiti is still on, Mary - do you want to sponsor me?, after all it is for charidee !)

But was this a 'spurious project' ITK?

And does your medical qualification allow you to diagnose from your armchair?

Yes ... and Yes !

CIN has been running for appx 30 years, and each year claims to raise about £30M ... thats £900,000,000 ... can you name ONE project that I may think was not a waste of money?

Just where has all this money gone?????

But then again, Mary - just as with Lottery funding - its YOUR money and if you want to waste it ......
Innocent Accused With you all the way on this ITK...and to add insult to injury just went on Youtube, and that annoying advert at the start was 'childline'!

..including New Zealand where ITK would be horrified !!..more entitlements than you can imagine !

We've been there before, Hedda-tas !

All depends on structure etc and when we checked before the benefits were nowhere near as good as you claimed !

(but I may be in Palmerston North next year - where one of my ancestors was actually Matron of the local hospital - so I'll check for myself)
