JK2006 And both Borgen and Bridge were fabulous too; as were The Girl... films (in Swedish). As was Wallender (in Swedish). Something about those Scandinavians and visual art this century.
Music Biz Lawyer Ditto. Love it. As for the similarities with Borgen and The Bridge, well you have to admit it - the backdrop of a general election campaign, big business and a serial killer - makes for great police crime drama. You get hooked as you slowly realise how all three are connected, and how certain characters' behaviour starts to seem suspect. It's funny seeing Lund and her colleague driving around Denmark in a grey Vauxhall Cavalier though...
JK2006 Yes DJ - I agree, there is (both of them were great too) and I could do with a little less politics and a little more Lund (who has really aged) but it's still terrific.
DJones But isn't there too much of Borgen and even The Bridge in the script?
JK2006 Absolutely fabulous, well made television.
I'm totally hooked, as must be every viewer.
Direction, camerawork, script, acting, sets, lighting, sound... just fabulous.
