bah humbug to mince pies.
Heinrid Wolphart The Royals are still considered German by our oh so daring comedians and they've been here for ages. Mind you, the Germans are rubbish at mince pies. Far too heavy. Both the Germans, and their pies.
Pumpkinhead My Mum's side is the Russian one yes .. but she is 2nd generation British.
JK2006 I would guess that Russian influence might be rather good PH or is that the other side of your family?
Pumpkinhead Mum makes our mince pies .. and I agree that shop bought ones are never as good.
