I find it strange that the nicking seems to be going to many that enjoyed slagging him off. Jim Davidson always slagged JS off in his stageshows. Some of it becomes a case of Karma, a la Wilf De'ath. I believe Mr Tosspot, also mentioned another 60s DJ a while ago. So, guess that will be round the corner.
The final outcome of all this will be very interesting. Seems like women are coming out of the closet to get their own back...considering JD's many affairs. |

Meirion Jones himself described most of the women as 'extremely manipulative' in an e-mail to MWT in Nov 2011. Karin Ward was in jail for 'deception', while this may have been a long time ago, the woman Fiona forged a letter and handed it to the Daily Mail in October this year claiming it was sent to her in 2007 by Surrey police, which is clear evidence of her current dishonest, deceptive and manipulative streak. Most of the traits they've tried to attribute to Savile could equally be applied to them.
My guess is, if anything, they'll pay someone or Karin will get one of her pals to go forward and pretend to be this girl - the last thing they need is more than one woman coming forward claiming to be that person, then it'll be obvious some or all them are lying. But if this happens it can be checked out. These girls were supposed to be on a school trip from an approved school. If the register is still in existence then it could be checked to see who was signed out that afternoon and who went on the trip. Also with the Freddie Starr thing she said he 'humiliated her in front of everyone in the dressing room' can the others who were in the audience that day (probably not just girls from Duncroft) be found to see if any of them can corroborate this...?
I don't see why anyone should feel obliged to believe her without knowing the facts, but even if we suspend disbelief and imagine for a moment the accusations against Freddie Starr were true, let's get real here... What has he actually been accused of?? It might not be a pleasant accusation, and paints him as behaving like a bit of a dick, but dies it really justify him being arrested and told he cannot be alone with his children 38 years down the line...?
It's the sort of thing that has happened to most women (she was 16 at the time, despite what she originally claimed and the News and newspapers reported), and most women would have shrugged it of and forgot about it by now. And this is a woman that claims to have suffered serious abuse and been raped on several occasions? Why make such a disproportionate big deal about this then? Surely this would pale in comparison if the rest of what shes supposed to claim in her books is true.
P.s: I read in a review she does admit in her book she had a reputation as a 'fantasist'  before she was put into care - unfairly, she claims, as she was telling the truth.
Perhaps she wasn't telling the truth and that assessment was correct after all...? |

But have the police managed to find the girl Karin Ward claims she seen him having it away with in Jimmy Savile's dressing room? Newsnight said they couldn't trace her and the only information about 'her' she could give was that she was '13' and from Duncroft.
I have to wonder how she can be so sure of the age of a girl she doesn't seem to be able to remember the name of when she wasn't even right about what age she was herself at the time of these alleged incidents...
If they don't even have a victim, has he been charged with anything...? (mind you after all this hysteria what's to stop someone else coming forward and making a bogus accusation, just because they can...)
Yep. I'm sure someone may actually come forward & tell a further pack of lies on behalf of Ms Ward (or whatever she calls herself at the minute). I could make a guess that she is probably a manipulative person. Hilarious to think MWT has called Savile that word, when it applies to the so called accusers & MWT himself. Taking advantage of a situation, at it's worse, me thinks. Though even if someone does come forward & tells about the Dressing room incident, there is still a good case against them, as Freddie Starr & GG were definately not, on the same show! |
