That's something I have in common with George "triple-dip" Osborne!
I wonder if Mr Silliband has heard that all his "spend / spend / spend" ideas - already tried by Mr Hollande - have sent France to the edge of bankruptcy (in a matter of months) ? |

the introduction to Masters of The Universe says it all very succinctly.
The scary part is that ITK may be quite intelligent (but not as much as me of course) and yet he still believes all this voodoo economics stuff.
There are millions like him though and some are in power |

Its the DEFICIT that we are paying off !
The overall debt will continue to rise (because interest is added to Labour's debt - each and every year - until it is paid off, silly !) |

It's all part of the social conditioning going on.
Convince the masses - who of course used to have a much more "laissez-faire" attitude to tax avoidance before thinking became illegal - that it is a bad thing, and reduce the amount of people who are legally reducing their tax burden by virtue of self-employment, contracting etc - and setting themselves up as "Ltd Co"s etc, and in a few years it will be "socially unacceptable" as by then we will be almost completely a nation of imbeciles. That is the idea, and people are becoming so bovine it may well work out.
Which means laws won't be changed for those in power and with money already - the loopholes exist and will quietly be used by those "in the know"
Those drones with their head just above water will no longer complain about being bum-raped by PAYE etc - it is "their duty" to pay taxes. They will no longer aspire to having a "good accountant" and the gap between 'real wealth' will widen - people will "know their place" and be kept in check by their nearest & dearest, and woe betide anyone trying to break free! |
