JK2006 Remember "institutionalised racism"? I think we are starting to see "institutionalised corruption". Too many cops for far too long have bent, twisted, deformed and exaggerated the truth and facts in order to get convictions, promotion, money, bribes, back handers, cash from media...

But may I gently remind those many, many media folk who visit this site every minute of every day that nobody has yet investigated or examined the extraordinary incompetence that allowed the killer of Milly Dowler to remain free for years, assaulting and murdering other innocent girls?

Lord Leveson's Inquiry was not interested in this aspect of the Police/Media relationship as the media didn't make much fuss over the deaths of the two other girls.

Surrey Police were meant to be investigating this but the officer in charge "retired" - on, I'm sure, full pension.

And many other officers involved are still working at Surrey Police.

Do the media REALLY not consider this a great story?

Andrew Mitchell is going to be completely vindicated over this ... mark my words !
