hedda Having followed this case I always thought that upon appeal the accused would succeed...and what convinced me was the huge amount of prejudical reporting that seems to accompany these cases.

Patel not guilty of manslaughter

Former Bundaberg surgeon Jayant Patel has been found not guilty of killing a patient.

A Brisbane Supreme Court jury on Wednesday acquitted Dr Patel of the manslaughter of 75-year-old Mervyn Morris.
