Too expensive to build the sets, Veri-hedda-tas

Besides, even those in Shameless are getting jobs now (you are SO out of touch !)
True Maybe they heard Ed's Balls were being filmed there?
honey!oh sugar sugar. I must admit, I snarled a bit when my area was voted third best in the North West (I dont know why, its a shocking dump) and hoped it wouldn't attract more building of "prison camp chic" houses.
hedda my one wish is that they start filming Shameless there.
In The Know The new BBC TV series "The Village" was filmed entirely in the Dark Peak village of Hayfield (where League of Gentlemen was largely made - and where Capt Mainwaring was born !).

We are about to get loads of marauding tourists - just as we did when Longnor and Crich were central to the series Peak Practise.

The lanes in that area are narrow enough without buses full of biddies on their weekly outing (and Manchester is so close !)

Don't come ! Derbyshire isnt nice - no matter what the tourist authority may say !
Go to Holmfirth (Last of the Summer Wine) or Esholt (Emmerdale) - you'll like it much better.

Leave it for the locals !!!!!!!!!
