If this woman (that named De'Ath) is who I think she is. Then, it wasn't a cinema, but a theatre, where she used to "sing" before performances.
And thinking about who might of put her up to it...Anyone ever watched the awful "Loose Women"? Well if you have...there are connections, all over the shop. No need to say anymore. |

I totally agree with everything Wilfred De'Ath has said here, but what about his involvement in the Jimmy Savile fake documentary?
He's a pathetic hypocrite, he was only too happy to point the finger for the tabloids at the start. |

"withdrew her statement and said she was not willing to give evidence in court alone"
Er, how old was this woman?
She was the one who made the complaint, she knew there had been no witnesses (one way or another whether it actually happened or not) when she made the complaint.
Or was she hoping another woman would recognize him and come forward with an accusation of her own whether true or false?
This "not willing to give evidence in court alone" or "too frightened to give evidence in court alone" is becoming a transparent and pathetic cliche, especially when we arettalking about complainants who are now in their 40's, 50's and 60's (supposedly mature adults).
The same could be said in anycase (sexual or otherwise), that no one wants to be the only witness, especially if they know the defendant, but if you are the only witness then too bad i'm afraid. It was her and no one else who went forward to make this complaint.
People guilty of GBH and other far more serious dangerous and damaging offenses than 'groping' someones 'thighs' in a cinema 40+ years ago are let go because the attack can't be proven beyond reasonable doubt, why should it be any different here? (as i'm sure he poses a far lesser risk to the public than someone who's stabbed someone recently). And if it had bothered her that much at the time or in the years since, why wait nearly 50 years to report it?
She has accused him of 'groping her thighs' in a cinema nearly 50 years ago. I wonder if she can explain how he went about doing that? Was she standing up? Sitting down? Does it matter? All I can possibly think of is him maybe giving them a cheeky squeeze, but he says he never even went to the cinema with her. Who knows, I don't trust a woman who does this sort of thing (goes to the police about anything and everything just because she feels she can and milk it for all it's worth, but I don't trust Wilfred De'Ath either.

"Not willing to give evidence alone" translates as "this is a publicised trawl. It didn't work with Mr De'ath because nobody knows who the hell he is"
No further evidence needed there.
Who encouraged this ITV "actress" to give this statement against her ITV colleagues dodgy star witness to beef up a threadbare police witch hunt he effectively created and fully intended to milk? I wonder! |

bit confusing...CPS say they won't release his name but the BBC has.
sounds like the CPS want him to crawl away unnoticed after destroying his life. |
