steveimp Ahh, thats not a Christmas show but an episode called The Election Candidate.

There are two versions of this out there, the only difference between one where Hancock is standing for 'The East Cheam Liberals' and the other where he is standing for 'The East Cheam Independents.' One was for sale abroad (the Independents) through the peculiarly named BBC Transcription Service.
andrew I know what you mean Stevie I bought a digital radio so I could listen to Hancock's half hour many years ago. I love the Christmas Specials there one episode I can't remember the name of it or the plot but it starts with Hancock moaning about not getting the figurines he wants from the cereal box and Bill Kerr got them all.
steveimp Nearly sixty years old but still some of the freshest funniest comedy out there.
Haven't stopped listening for the last few weeks and the writing and performances never stop entertaining. Nothing like it since.
