I've just checked Auto Trader. they have 5 currently for sale, ranging from £2k - £4k.All are either 1993 or 1994 models and range from 20k - 80k milage.
Without checking, I thibnk the car was only available in the UK for a few years. And I know JK has been constant in his admiration of the car for may years!
It is a little bit annoying that we live in a terrace and dont have a garage because I came across one that was an MOT failure for next to nothing that my boys could have fixed up, if only we had somewhere to put it.
Mind you, I think whatever we spend we will get back in petrol savings. |

Interestingly, Brent Crude has been the same price recently that it was when petrol was just..... 97p a litre. |

Yes Honey - I almost can't believe the miniature petrol consumption. It must be a freak car but it really almost never seems to need filling up.
Perhaps the last quarter or so will suddenly disappear. |

So I got into Baby Car this morning; gorgeous sunny day, for me a Marathon means a long car journey; despite a trip of 50 miles there and 50 miles back last weekend, the needle was on FULL. After today's 100 miles it was above three quarters full. It will do 800 miles on a £30 tank. Isn't that amazing?
As for your daughter Honey, I thoroughly recommend a Baby Car; delightful, reliable, fun vehicle; for me it was love at first sight, 18 years ago.
Thank you for the recommendation. It seems ideal for her because she only needs enough room for her equipment and she wont have the profit eaten up in petrol.
Above all else it is very pretty indeed and will suit her down to the ground.
She has a year or so to save up and find one. |
