Scientists seem unsure exactly how the morning after pill works to prevent pregnancy, but it is thought that it can either stop the body releasing an egg (ovulating), prevent sperm from meeting an egg that has been, or is about to be released (fertilisation) OR stop a fertilised egg from attaching itself to the womb.
So that is not the only way in which they think it might work, and it is the same way in which they think the contraceptive pill works.
So if the morning after pill should be classed as an 'abortion pill', that would mean the contraceptive pill should be too, shouldn't it?
The "old" contraceptive pill halts ovulation but the "mini-pill" works by thickening the cervical mucous and thinning the lining of the womb so the fertilized egg can not implant. It may also prevent ovulation sometimes but because this is not guaranteed it wouldn't be acceptable for anyone who believes it is a baby from the start and objects to abortion. |

Yes. If an individual gave a child contraception and instructions in how to perform oral sex they would quite rightly be convicted of grooming yet it is considered perfectly OK if the state and media do it.
"Young girl" and "little children" have never been banned. It was nonsense, but morons tend to (willfully) misinterpret lyrics. |
