Well, that's not very surprising - is it, ITK?
I saw this magnificent show tonight and JK's every word is true. |

It's been ages since I've seen another musical for which I could find NO FAULT ANYWHERE. Great script, acting, music, lights, sets, choreography - superb in every way.
I went with both Lynn Barber and Annie Robinson and they agreed 100%. In fact they couldn't believe it had got any negative reviews until I revealed they had been in the Mail.
Went onto Balthazar afterwards for a fantastic meal.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
My original worry (no hits - one reason why I loathed Matilda) was squashed by the sheer lyrical and musical imagination.
My theory that musicals should be packed with hits applies only when the rest of the show doesn't stand up. I remember Phantom was great with only one (terrific) hit in it.
Go to The Book of Mormon - you'll love it. |
