So this is why he isn't bothered about the TOTP repeats - he wanted to be part of the very "team" that posthumously destroyed Jimmy Savile, and ultimately DLT and the whole TOTP legacy. If one thing also shows why the BBC has no backbone this is it - spineless Execs who have no loyalty and hopscotch from one job to another in search of a bigger paycheck. There can no greater act of treachery than someone in charge of the BBC's heritage channel moving to the makers of commercial garbage and some of the worst television ever made.
